The Vertical Collection List section allows you to showcase selected collections in a clean, stacked layout. Designed for easy browsing, it helps customers quickly explore categories such as new arrivals, featured, or seasonal collections. This layout improves navigation and highlights key product groups without requiring users to dig through menus.

How to Add the Vertical Collection List Section

The Vertical Collection List section allows you to feature specific collections on your homepage or other pages, helping customers explore categories quickly and easily. Follow the steps below to edit and customize it:

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  • Click Customize on the Nourish theme.
  • In the Theme Editor, use the drop-down selector to choose the page where you want to add or edit the Vertical Collection List section.
  • Click Add Section (or select an existing Vertical Collection List section if already added).
  • Click Save to apply your changes.
How To Edit the Vertical Collection List section

Here are the steps to configure the options mentioned for the Vertical Collection List section in your Nourish Shopify theme:

  • Subheading: Add a short line of text above the main heading to provide context for the section.
  • Heading: Enter a bold, attention-grabbing title for the section.
  • Heading Display: Choose how the heading text should appear.
    • Default: Displays the heading in its original text style.
    • Uppercase: Converts the heading text to all capital letters for a bold, standout look.
  • Image Aspect Ratio: Choose how collection images are displayed.
    • Square: Creates a balanced, uniform grid of collections.
    • Portrait: Displays taller images, suitable for vertical-style photography.
    • Landscape: Displays wider images, great for banners or wide visuals.
Configure the Collection Block Settings
  • Adding a New Tab Block: Click the Add Collection Tab Block button to create a new tab inside the Collection Tab section.
  • Select Collection: Choose the collection you want to associate with the tab.
  • Tab Image 1:
    • Click Upload images to add the first tab image.
    • This image will visually represent the tab.
  • Image Label 1: Enter a label for the first tab image.
  • Tab Image 1 URL: Add a link that opens when the first tab image is clicked.
  • Tab Image 2:
    • Upload the second image to display another featured category or highlight.
  • Image Label 2: Enter a label for the second tab image.
  • Tab Image 2 URL: Paste or search for the link that should open when the second tab image is clicked.
  • Removing a Tab: Select an existing Collection Tab block and click the Remove Block button to delete it.
