Steps to Set Up the Header Section in Your Shopify Theme, Adorn

1. Open the Customizer

• Log in to your Shopify Admin.
• Go to Online Store > Themes.
• Click Customize next to your Adorn theme.

2. Access the Header Section

• In the Customizer, navigate to the Header Group in the left-hand panel.
• Open the Header section to start configuring settings.

3. Set the Header Background Color

• Choose a background color for the header using the Header Background Color option.
• Pick a color for the sticky header background under the Sticky Header Background Color setting

4. Set the Header Text Color

• Set the text color for the regular header using the Header Text Color option.
• Use the Sticky Header Text Color setting to define the text color for the sticky header version.
• Use the Dropdown Text Color option to change the text color of dropdown menus in the header.

5. Set the Header Border Color

• Use the Header Border Color option to define a border color for the header.

6. Configure Logo Settings

• Under the Select Logo section, click Upload images to upload your logo file.
• Set the Logo Width to using the provided slider or input box.

7. Choose Logo Position

Under the Logo Position option, select one of the following:

• Logo Left: Aligns the logo to the left of the header.
• Logo Center: Aligns the logo at the center of the header.
• Logo Center Menu Bottom: Places the logo at the center, with the menu positioned below it.

8. Set Up Menu Settings

• In the Header section, locate the Menu Settings.
• Under Main Menu, Select or modify your menu list using the options available (e.g., Main menu).

9. Choose Menu Type

In the Menu Type settings, choose the layout that fits your needs:

• Dropdown: Select this option if you want a traditional dropdown menu for sub-items. Please refer to our mega menu guide.
• Mega Menu: Choose this for a more extensive layout that can display multiple columns of links for larger categories. Please refer to our dropdown menu guide.

10. Show Header Border

• Toggle the Show Border option to enable or disable the header border.

11. Enable Sticky Header (Optional)

• Enable the Sticky Header option if you want the header to remain fixed at the top as users scroll down.

12. Enable Curved Edges

• Turn on the Enable Curved Edges option to apply a rounded effect to the left edge of the header.
• This setting helps create a more modern and stylized header layout.
